Version HistoryThe FLAreaCodeLookup Pro program version 3.0 is now available for download and registration. To determine which version you currently have, start the program and click on the Help/About menu item. 1.07 Initial release. We chose 1.07 as the first number to keep the Professional and Basic editions synchronized. 1.08 Skipped this version number to keep in synch with the Basic version. 1.09 Changed the database for the following: 1) Florida is adding area code 754, covering the same region as 954, effective 8/1/01. Area code 954 will remain in service. 2) Pennsylvania is adding area code 878, covering the same region as 412 and 724, effective 8/17/01. Area codes 412 and 724 will remain in service. 3) Virginia is changing part of area code 540 to 276, effective 9/1/01. 4) Michigan is adding area code 586, covering the same region as 810, effective 9/22/01. Area code 810 will remain in service. These additions bring the Professional Edition to the same update level as the Basic Edition, i.e. the Professional Edition now includes all area codes that will be in service at the end of October, 2001. 1.10 Changed the database for the following: 1) British Columbia is adding area code 778, covering the same region as 604, effective 11/3/01. Area code 604 will remain in service. 2) New York is changing part of area code 716 to 585, effective 11/15/01. 1.11 Added time zone feature. Changed the database for the following: 1) New Jersey is adding area code 551, covering the same region as 201, effective 12/29/01. Area code 201 will remain in service. 2) New Jersey is adding area code 848, covering the same region as 732, effective 12/29/01. Area code 732 will remain in service. 3) New Jersey is adding area code 862, covering the same region as 973, effective 12/29/01. Area code 973 will remain in service. 1.12 Changed the database for the following: 1) Ohio is adding area code 567, covering the same region as 419, effective 1/1/02. Area code 419 will remain in service. 2) Illinois is adding area code 224, covering the same region as 847, effective 1/5/02. Area code 847 will remain in service. 3) Indiana is changing parts of area code 219 to 260 and 574, effective 1/15/02. 4) Arkansas is changing part of area code 501 to 479, effective 1/19/02. 2.00 Added the capability to list all area codes in a state or province by clicking on it in the map. 2.01 Added Canadian cities with populations above 10,000. Changed the unregistered version to only display US cities with populations above 30,000. Fixed Forward Loop Software's web site address in pop-up windows. Changed the database for the following: 1) Florida is changing parts of area code 561 to 772, effective 2/11/02. 2) Florida is changing parts of area code 941 to 239, effective 3/11/02. 3) Michigan is changing parts of area code 616 to 269, effective 7/13/02. 4) Michigan is adding area code 947, covering the same region as 248, effective 9/7/02. Area code 248 will remain in service. 5) Texas is adding area code 430, covering the same region as 903, effective 2/15/03. Area code 903 will remain in service. 6) Texas is changing parts of area code 915 to 325 and 432, effective 4/5/03. 2.02 Added a small white box to the maps, to indicate where the largest city in the area code region is located. 3.0 Changed the database to bring it up to date through August, 2008. Enabled the entire database in the free/demo version. Disabled the maps feature in the free/demo version. |
